Agent skills for coding agents

When you use AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex to build with Vectara, the agent may rely on outdated training data. Agent skills solve this by giving the coding agent current, accurate patterns for using the Vectara platform.

What are agent skills?

Agent skills are instruction files that you install into your coding agent's project. They teach the agent how to use the Vectara API correctly, including creating agents, configuring tools, managing sessions, and avoiding common mistakes.

The vectara/agent-skills repository contains skills compatible with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, and other AI coding agents.
